CASUALTIES IN AIR FORCE

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, January 28. The following air casualties were announced today (all members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, except where otherwise stated): — SERGEANT VINCENT ARTHUR, missing; mother, Mrs F. A. Arthur, Inglewood. PILOT OFFICER LEONARD RAYMOND FARR, died of injuries received in action; father, Mr L. Farr, SERGEANT ROBERT EWAN ERNEST FOTHERINGHAM, previously reported missing, believed killed in July 1941, death now officially presumed; mother, Mrs M. Fotheringham, Takapuna. SERGEANT COLIN MAURICE THOMPSON, previously reported missing, and now reclassified as missing and believed killed; father, Mr R. J. Thompson, Christchurch. PILOT OFFICER ROBERT STANLEY CHISHOLM, R.A.F., previously reported missing and believed killed in June 1941, death now officially presumed; father, Mr Chisholm, Wellington.
