CHINA’S WAR POLICY

(Rec. 10 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 21. The Chungking correspondent of the United Press reports that Dr Wang Chung Hui, secretary of the General Chinese Supreme National Defence Council interviewed today, said: “Any division of war against the aggressors into two conflicts, Europe and Asia, will be detrimental to our common cause. For China’s part we could not honourably sign an obstreperous peace with Japan, nor shall we, for there can be no honourable peace with Japan apart from a general world settlement. China’s policy is one of complete co-operation of fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Allies against the Axis Powers.”
