Fair With Moderate Temperatures
(Special) WELLINGTON, January 22. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate and rather variable winds with south-easterlies predominating; the weather fair with moderate temperatures.
The sky was overcast in Invercargill yesterday and the weather was warm. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was mild and slightly overcast. The barometer reading was 30.04 in (falling). __
