A pair of thrushes have built a nest and are now raising a family of four amid the crashing and screeching of machinery in a busy Auckland timber yard. The nest has been perched precariously in an angle formed by girders, and, although there is a circular saw operating about 6ft below, the birds appear to be in no Avay affected by the noise, z —- .
