The following Air Force casualties were announced today, all being members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force:— SERGEANT lAN HAMISH HUNTER, died of injuries received in an aircraft accident; father. Mr A. Hunter, Hawera. SERGEANT THOMAS CRAWFORD BENTLY PATTERSON, reported missing on air operations; mother, Mrs T. C. Patterson, Auckland. PILOT OFFICER FREDERIC HUGH ANDERSON. reported killed as the result of an aircraft accident; mother, Mrs H. A. Anderson, Wangaehu. PILOT OFFICER IVAN HENRY COLLETT, now reported to be a prisoner of war and in German hands; father, Mr E. A. Collett. Gisborne. SERGEANT DESMOND JOSEPH PYMAN, previously reported missing now reported missing but believed prisoner of war; mother, Mrs L. Pyman, Rotorua. PILOT OFFICER MAURICE OSBORNE STEPHENS, previously reported missing. now reported missing but believed a prisoner of war; father, Mr J. T. O. Stephens, Timaru.
