CANADA TO MANUFACTURE LANCASTER BOMBERS

(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, Nov. 21. The Minister of Munitions (Mr A. How) announced that Canada would manufacture’ giant Lancaster fourmotored bombers at the request of the British Government. He said this necessitated the cancellation of the production order for the Martin 826 two-engined bomber, which would now be obtained from the United States.
