ATTRACTIVE PROGRAMME FOR SCOUT DEMONSTRATION
A comprehensive programme has been arranged for the demonstration by the Invercargill Boy Scouts, assisted by the Southland School of Highland and Classic Dancing, which will be presented in the Civic Theatre on Wednesday. The programme will include choir items, a tumbling display, sea shanties, ballets, and Highland and national dancing. Items will also be given by the New Broadway dance band and by Misses Rosalie Ferry, Marie Winders, Isobel Lange and Master Alex Lange. A large measure of public support is hoped for in view of the quality of the programme and also as a gesture of appreciation for the assistance which the Boy Scouts have given to many city institutions. Mr Alex Sutherland will be stage director.
