(Special) WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington: Winds from a westerly quarter, strong at times; some scattered rain, but the weather mainly fair to cloudy; moderate temperatures. Further outlook: Changeable. This morning at 1 o’clock the weather was overcast and mild. There was practically no wind. The barometer reading was 30.00 in (rising).
