FREAK DUCK EGG
A freak duck’s egg, complete with three skins, was brought into the office of The Southland Times yesterday. The first skin had come off and the second was just about off; the third skin appeared to be a hard shell. The egg is hard at one end and pulpy at the other and is of a fairly large size.
