WELLINGTON R.S.A. RAISES £3131
(PA) WELLINGTON, November 14. A sum of £3131 was collected in the streets of Wellington and suburbs today when the Wellington Returned Services Association opened its appeal for £30,000 to provide premises as the headquarters of the association and for the Lower Hutt sub-branch. This is a record collection for a street day in Wellington. The bulk of the money was collected by the sale at. 2/- each of miniature steel helmets made to fix in buttonholes.
