100 BLOOMS ON ONE STALK
Many fine polyanthus blooms have been grown in Invercargill gardens in the past, but it is doubtful if even the most em
msiastic gardener has ever before succeeded in raising a plant with 100 blooms. A polyanthus plant grown by Mrs A. McKendry, of 52 William street, South Invercargill, was brought into The Southland Times office yesterday, and a hasty count revealed that there were just on 100 blooms on the one stalk.
