IMPORTANCE OF WATERFRONT WORK
Mr R. E. Price, Waterfront Control Commissioner addressed a meeting of members of the Bluff branch of the Waterside Workers’ Union a Bluff yesterday morning. In the course of an interesting address he cleared up points which were not quite understood under the new system of working on the wharves. Mr Price stressed the national importance of the work and the improved results accruing from the co-operative contract svstem.
