TECHNICAL COLLEGE BOARD
MOTOR TRADE GIVEN VOTE The Southland branch of the New Zealand Retail Motor Trade Association will be entitled to vote at future elections of employers’ representatives on the board of the Southland Technical College. This information was conveyed in a letter from the Director of Education (Dr C. E. Beeby) received at the meeting of the board last night. On behalf of the visiting committee for October, Mr L. S. Alsweiler said that something should be done to have the assembly hall renovated during the holidays. It was decided to refer the matter to the building committee. Messrs W. G. Tait and G. R. Baxter were appointed the visiting committee for November.
