CROQUET
SOUTHEND CLUB OPENS SEASON The Southend Croquet Club held its official opening on Saturday afternoon. The weather was fine, although a strong wind was blowing. There was a good attendance. The season was declared open by the Mayor (Mr J. R. Martin) and the Mayoress played the first ball.
