IMPROVEMENT OF BASE AT DAKAR
(Rec. 6.30 p.m.) VICHY, September 4. The Government has allocated £1,200,000 for improving the naval base at Dakar and strategic overland communications to the Mediterranean, including improvements to the DakarNiger railway and completion of the trans-Sahara highway system.
