EMPLOYMENT OF WOMEN IN CAMPS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 29. A report dealing with the employment of women in military camps in the Dominion has been received and is now being considered by the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones). He said today that proposals to employ women in certain tasks in military camps involved certain changes and required careful consideration. There was also the question of the extent to which the men at present employed in camps should be displaced.
