SUCCESSFUL CONCERT AT WALLACETOWN
A concert was held in the Wallacetown hall in aid of the Wallactown and Underwood Citizens’ Association. The first half of the programme was opened by Miss M. McGearty (pianoforte solo) followed by items by Mr W. Bruce, Mrs W. Bruce (Ryal Bush), Mr C. E. Hawes (Waikiwi), Miss M. Kirkwood (Winton), and Mr H. McL. Eggers (Invercargill). Mr Kennedy Black and party were responsible for the second part of the programme and the items were very much enjoyed. The performers were warmly thanked for providing the entertainment.
