TODAY’S RECIPE
FRIED APPLES AND EGGS Cut apples into thick slices. Fry a bacon rasher for each egg, then fry apple slices in bacon fat until brown. Now fry eggs, allowing 1 or 2 per person. Cut toast into neat squares and butter lightly, place qn 2 apple slices, then an egg. Place a rasher of bacon at side and serve at once.
