FOOTBALLER INJURED

Robert Bradshaw, of Bluff, aged 19, suffered injuries to his head in a football match. He was admitted to the Kew Hospital on Saturday night and‘his condition last night was satisfactory. MAN FALLS FROM CYCLE Injuries to his head were suffered by Mr Francis Reddan, married, aged 43, of 110 Crinan street, when he fell from his bicycle yesterday. He was carrying his son on the bicycle when the boy caught his foot in the spokes of the wheel. Mr Reddan was thrown to the ground and suffered concussion. He was taken to the Kew Hospital. His condition is satisfactory. TAXI-DRIVER’S SUDDEN DEATH (P.A.) DUNEDIN, July 20. John A. Belsey, aged 55, a taxi driver, died on Saturday night while taking a passenger from the city to Caversham. Feeling unwell, he stopped the car and died while assistance was being obtained.
