Cousins, who has occupied the position of general secretary to the New Zealand Garage Proprietors’ Association, announced his retirement after nearly 24 years’ service. The council appointed Mr C. R. Edmond, of Wellington, as general secretary of the new organization and Mr F. A. Knight as assistant secretary. Mr Edmond is president of the New Zealand Motor Trade Federation, and has

for a number of years been general manager of Todd Motors Ltd. Mr Knight has been secretary of the New Zealand Petrol Resellers’ Association for a number of years and also secretary of the New Zealand Motor Trade Federation.
