HERD-TESTING COURSE FOR WOMEN
Young women of Southland who are attending a special herd-testing course for women at the Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, enjoy great popularity, according to the chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, Mr W. E. Hale, who conferred with Mr G. R. Herron, of Makarewa, over the week-end. Mr Hale said he was greatly impressed with the splendid type of young women attending the course. He visited Lincoln on his way south to Invercargill and took the opportunity of talking to Southland women. The course will end this week.
