BASKETBALL The Orepuki B grade basketball team journeyed to Clifden where it beat the Clifden team by 30 goals to one. FLAG 500 The Knitting Circle’s fortnightly flag 500 evening was again well attended, the prize winners being Mrs Gillespie, Mrs R. Dunnage and Mr C. Bulman. Mr H. J. Townshend was elected secretary. Matters of importance to the district were discussed and arrangements were made for chaff-cutting and the threshing mill.
