GORE SWIMMING BATH LOAN
“Gore Ratepayer” writes: I note that a proposal is made to raise a £4OOO loan for the purpose of building swimming baths at Gore. At present Gore is perhaps the highest rated borough in New Zealand, and with the country in such a serious condition, and taxation so enormously high, it is to be hoped that the ratepayers of Gore will give this suggestion a definite no.
