FISHING LAUNCH STOLEN AND SUNK
(P.A.) OAMARU, May 12. A fishing launch valued at about £6OO, the property of Manuel Asproloupos, was stolen from the Oamaru harbour on Saturday night and taken two miles out to sea and sunk in 30 feet of water. A small dinghy was also stolen. The sunken launch was found yesterday. The police are searching for the perpetrator of this outrage.
