NEW SECRETARY OF NATIONAL PARTY
(P.A.) . WELLINGTON, April 28. The Dominion Executive of the New Zealand National Party has announced the appointment of Mr T. G. Wilkes as general secretary to the party. Mr Wilkes joined the staff of the Wellington division as organizer on the formation of the party in 1936. Subsequently he was attached to Dominion headquarters and acted as chief organizer for the Auckland division in the 1938 election campaign.
