EXCELLENT DRAFT OF LAMBS
An excellent example of the value of liming and intensive pasture management is shown in one of the excellent drafts of fat lambs that have gone forward to the freezing works this year. A draft of 800 Southdown Cross lambs owned by Mr Harold Day, Oreti, which were drafted off the mothers, were practically all first quality and averaged just under 381 b in weight.
