The Main Highways Board would support the council in accepting the tender. The tender of Taylor Bros, of £155 for gravelling on Hewitson road, Morton Mains, was accepted. The same tenderer’s figure of £377 for supplying stone chips from the Oreti river at the Iron Bridge for Dunn’s highway was accepted.
