WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL Issue of DEBENTURES £lOO Each THE WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL invites applications for debentures of £lOO each in the WELLINGTON CITY ELECTRIC POWER STATION CONSTRUCTION AND TRAMWAYS IMPROVEMENT LOAN 1920 RENEWAL LOAN 1940. TERM—IO years from Ist December, 1940. INTEREST —3i}% per annum. - The debentures are FIRST CLASS SHORT DATED GILT-EDGED INVESTMENTS and are authorised trustee securities. THE SECURITY for the loan will be a special rate on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of the whole of the rateable property in the City of Wellington. Wellington City Corporation debentures are readily negotiable. Forms of application may be obtained at the City Treasurer’s Department, Town Hall, Wellington.
