FLYING OF FLAGS AT SCHOOLS

(United Press Association) NELSON, July 16. A recommendation that the flag be flown from the masthead at every school in New Zealand daily throughout the war is to be forwarded to the Minister of Education (the Hon. H. G. R. Mason) from the Nelson Education Board. The proposal was strongly supported by members, whose decision was unanimous.

It is not suggested that the children should salute the flag daily.
