BREACH OF PETROL REGULATIONS

(United Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, July 16. Fines totalling £3O were imposed on Porter Motors Ltd. in the Magistrate’s Court for a breach of the petrol regulations. The police statement showed that a farmer, John Salisbury Greenhow, of Bunnythorpe, held a licence for 91 gallons a month for a farm tractor, but during March and April when the tractor was not much used he allowed Porter Motors Ltd. to draw on the licence to the extent of 132 gallons. Greenhow was fined £5.
