AUCKLAND, June 28.

A cable received by C. Lucas, who is managing Johnny Hutchinson and “Alabama Kid” in New Zealand, states that Archie Moore, the American negro,, defeated Fred Henneberry in Sydney last night in the seventh round. Henneberry was unable to continue after a foul blow, and under the no-foul rule Moore was the winner. It was stated that Henneberry was ahead on points. The gate was £2900.
