The wheat market was much brighter as a result of both local and export inquiry. Quotations: Wheat: Silo grain, 4/- a bushel; bagged 4/3. Flour: £l2/10/- a ton. Bran and pollard: £5/10/- a ton. Potatoes: Tasmanian, £lO/10/- a ton; local £lO. Onions: Victorian and Brown £l3. Maize: 4/9 a bushel.
