CIVIL RE-ESTABLISHMENT
LEAGUE
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 26. The Government’s appreciation of the valuable work being performed by the Soldiers’ Civil Re-establishment League was conveyed to the league by the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) at the sixth annual meeting and he hoped members would continue their activities since there would be much important work to do in the years to come. Those responsible for forming the league must be very gratified with what had been accomplished over the y If they could plan ahead for those men who might be brought back disabled or sick so much the better. The Government had set up a committee which so far was only departmental and a very valuable report had been submitted to the Government. The intention, however, was to have the whole question of repatriation and rehabilitation of the men examined and he understood the Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) had agreed to make an organized and representative body possible.
