REPORTS OF CLASHES

RUMANIANS AND RUSSIANS

POINTS ON DNIESTER FRONTIER SOVIET PLANES OVER BESSARABIA (United Press Assn.— Telegraph Copyright) (Received June 25, 8.40 p.m.) LONDON, June 25. The Budapest correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says that foreign military authorities and diplomatic circles have been informed from Bucharest that Rumanian and Russian troops have clashed at several points on the Dniester frontier. More than 100 Russian aeroplanes carried out reconnaissance flights over Bessarabia. The Rumanian authorities refuse to comment. The Rumanian Embassy in London has no knowledge of the report that Russia is invading Bessarabia and that Red Army aeroplanes have flown over the border. s It was also reported from Zagreb that Italian tanks are at Scutari, which has been declared a military zone. Foreign observers speculate whether there is any connection with the reports of the Russian movements.
