TUATAPERE MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOT

At the weekly shoot of the Waiau I Miniature Rifle Club, J. Denniston won i both the rifle and the handicap buttons I with a score of 80.7. ! The scores were:—J. Denniston, 80.7-2-80.8; A. SCHOOL FOOTBALL A team from the Te Tua school travelled to Tuatapere where the home team won by 17 points to 3. The first half was very even, Tuatapere leading at half-time by 6-3.. In the second half the Te Tua team tired. For Tuatapere points were scored by L. Scott' (two tries), G. Ogilvie (two tries and one conversion), B. Mouat\(one try) and for Te Tua A. Sage scored a try.
