MARRIAGE RUMOUR DENIED
FORMER SECRETARY FOR WAR LONDON, May 25. Asked about a report in a French newspaper that he had married Mlle Jacqueline Delubac, a French actress, Mr Leslie Hore-Belisha, former secretary of State for War, said “Blah.” The French newspaper Liberte stated that they had married at Cannes. Mlle Delubac was the third wife of Sacha Guitry. Their marriage was dissolved on April 5 last year. The report is denied by Mr Boldman, with whom Mr Hore-Belisha has been staying at Cannes. Mr Hore-Belisha’s personal secretary said: “I know nothing about the rumours of Mr Hore-Belisha’s marriage.”
