BOXING
GILDO AND HUTCHINSON DRAW (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 24. After leading on points practically throughout, Johnny Hutchinson, the American negro lightweight boxer, was unlucky not to get the decision over Young Gildo (Honolulu) tonight, the verdict being a draw. This was Hutchinson’s first appearance in New Zealand. He proved himself a fast, clever and aggressive fighter.
