FANCY DRESS PARTY The children’s fancy dress party held under the auspices of the Girl Guides Association was very successful, and the Patriotic Funds will benefit to the extent of £lO. The fxmction was well attended by children and adults. The judges, Mrs R. W. Porter and Miss E. G. Woods, made awards as follows:— Girls under 6, Doreen Campbell (fairy). Boys undex - 6, Ron Bragg (airman). Girls 6to 14, Claire Andersen (winter). Boys 6 to 14, Gavin Muir (Norwegian boy). Special prize, baby David Clement (Dutch boy). A prize fox- the parents with the largest family in fancy costume was won by Mx- and Mrs P. Ryan with seven representatives. Music was provided by Mrs E. Moon and Mr H. A. Ferguson.
