FANCY DRESS PARTY The children’s fancy dress party held under the auspices of the Girl Guides Association was very successful, and the Patriotic Funds will benefit to the extent of £lO. The fxmction was well attended by children and adults. The judges, Mrs R. W. Porter and Miss E. G. Woods, made awards as follows:— Girls under 6, Doreen Campbell (fairy). Boys undex - 6, Ron Bragg (airman). Girls 6to 14, Claire Andersen (winter). Boys 6 to 14, Gavin Muir (Norwegian boy). Special prize, baby David Clement (Dutch boy). A prize fox- the parents with the largest family in fancy costume was won by Mx- and Mrs P. Ryan with seven representatives. Music was provided by Mrs E. Moon and Mr H. A. Ferguson. The committee wishes to acknowledge the valuable assistance given by Messrs J. W. Lopdell, F. H. Pearce and W. F. Cameron. SPORTS TEAMS The Bluff senior football team foxtoday is:—L. Calder, W.
