NANKING, June 13. It is also investigating unconfirmed reports that the British landed troops in the Dutch East Indies. London and Dutch sources deny the report. A later message from London says that a Netherlands Government statement denies the German radio reports that 2000 British troops have landed at Java.” “There are no British troops in the Indies,” the statement says. “We have no intention of changing our established policy of maintaining the status quo in the Indies.”
