HOME LINKS EVENTS CORONATION MEDAL AND AOTEAROA CUP (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 21. ' The home links Coronation Medal competition for players with handicaps up to 18, which was played by members of the Ladies’ Golf Union throughout New Zealand during the week, May 5 to May 11, was won by Mrs J. N. Bullard (Whakatane), her score, 81-10-71, being four strokes under the scratch score of the course. The next best scores were those of Miss H. Chambers (Hastings), 85-14-71, three under, and Miss M. Cock (Nelson), 85-14-71, two under. The Aotearoa Cup, which was played for in conjunction with the same event but is open to players of any handicap, was won by Mrs Blake (Hastings), 90-27-63, 11 strokes under the scratch score. Miss M. Hotson (Te Kuiti), 99-32-67, seven under, was second and Miss . Scott (Waimairi Beach), 103-34-69, was third. QUEEN’S PARK LADIES’ CLUB A stroke handicap was played by members of the Queen’s Park Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday. The best cards were:— Senior.—Mrs J. T. Dwyer, 96-18-78; Mrs D. W. Robinson, 90-11-79. Junior.—Mrs J. F. Alexander, 104-28-76; Mrs W. Dick, 105-29-76; Mrs H. Halligan, 107-28-79; Mrs G. Gifford, 103-28-79. Mrs Dick won on the count back. C. Grade.—Mrs I. Mclntosh.
