EIGHT SINGLE MEN ENLIST
RECRUITS FOR ACTIVE SERVICE Eight recruits, all single men, enlisted for active service at Invercargill yesterday. The seven men whose names were available for publication were:— O. S. Donaldson. N. M. Dudfield. R. S. Fraser. G. Leask. F. Brown. R. F. Wood. G. R. Jarvis. DOMINION ENLISTMENTS (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 1. Enlistments last week throughout the Dominion totalled 727, and for the previous week 726. The total enlistments were 34,900 up to last Saturday. A total of 15,636 men have been sent to camp and there is a balance of fit men available for service of 6720.
