Tommy Burns Back Again
Former heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Tommy Burns, now the size of a beef trust baron, is going back to Australia. Stadiums, Ltd., has asked him to bring three fighters to the Commonwealth by August. He has one particular boxer, Sammy Jenkins, a middleweight, who, he says, is a second Jack Dempsey, in fastmoving, rip-bang style. Going back to Sydney, the place of the plaudits, where he defended his world title in 1908, Burns’s trip will stir up considerable enthusiasm.
