FREEZING OF PROPERTY HELD IN U.S.A.

WASHINGTON, April 29,
The Senate passed and sent to the House of Representatives a Bill permitting the freezing of property held in the United States by citizens of nations conquered by belligerents in the European war despite Republican contentions that it gives dangerous powers to the President to control private bank accounts.
