SMALL DANISH GRAIN CROP
WASHINGTON, April 28.
The United States Department of Agriculture reports that the Danish grain crop is likely to be below normal, thus increasing the cattle feed shortage which must follow the cutting off of imports. The feed available is sufficient to last until the end of October. It is expected from 15 to 20 per cent, of the cattle will be killed within three months and that probably half of Denmark’s 3,000,000 cattle may be exported to Germany.
