BULGARIA AND THE BALKANS
Loyalty Expressed By Minister TALK OF MUTUAL CONFIDENCE (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) SOFIA, April 29. M. Popoff, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister, stated: “I do not see any immediate danger threatening our neighbours, but if danger appears Bulgaria will be a loyal member of the Balkan family and will do nothing to weaken the mutual confidence necessary for Balkan prosperity.” Repeated German flights over the northern frontier of Yugoslavia are believed to be the main reason for the Government’s announcement that foreign military aeroplanes violating the frontiers will be fired on. Yugoslavia has informed Italy, Germany and Hungary of this decision. Recently eight German aeroplanes crossed the frontier in one day.
