WOMEN’S PAIRS TO NIGHTCAPS TOURNAMENT HELD IN INVERCARGILL City and country clubs were represented in the pairs tournament conducted by the Southland Women’s Bowling Association on the Te Rangi and R.S.A. greens yesterday. The weather was fine and warm. A country pair, Mrs Rushton and Mrs Lyng (skip), of Nightcaps, won the final after an interesting match with Mrs Wedderspoon and Mrs Smart (Southland).
