World-Famous Violinist In New Picture For State
With Jascha Heifetz, world-famous violinist, starred 'n his first screen appearance, “They Shall Have Music,” beginning at the State Theatre on Friday, unfolds a gripping story of human interest. The principal romantic roles are played by Andrea Leeds and Joel McCrea, while the important supporting roles are portrayed by Walter Brennan, Gene Reynolds and Tommy Kelly.
Walter Brennan is shown as an old professor running a school for ragged children, who are musical prodigies. Into the school comes Franky, who is taken in hand by the professor and develops into -a fine musician. How he tries to repay his debt, and how he lures the great Heifetz to the aid of the financially bankrupt schoo' provides the climax to the story.
