BRITISH DESTROYER SUNK
(Received February 20, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 19. The Admiralty regrets to announce that the destroyer Daring (Commander S. A. Cooper) has been torpedoed and sunk. One officer and four ratings have been picked up but nine officers and 148 ratings are missing, feared lost.
