CHILDREN’S HEALTH CAMP

To The Editor Sir, —Will you be kind enough to allow me, on behalf of the Southland Children’s Health Camp Association, to make an appeal through the columns of your paper, for gifts of fruit and vegetables and so on, for the health camp. The camp will open on December 29 and donations could be left from Thursday, December 28, onwards, at the depot which is situated in The Southland Times building. Gifts of jam, honey or anything of that nature would also be welcomed, and these could be left at the depot immediately. I trust that members of the public will respond to this appeal as generously as they have done in the past.— Yours, etc., R. FIELD, For the Children’s Health Camp Association. December 18, 1939.
