OUTSTANDING STORE FOR MEN
MANY USEFUL GIFTS AT GEORGE AND CO.’S Solving the problem of Christmas gifts for men is made easy by a visit to W. George and Co.’s establishment in Dee street. Right in the hub of the city, at the Post Office corner, George’s premises have been newly laid-out for quick service. The display counters present a host of suitable gifts; the customer loses no time, and makes his own choice from a wide range. It’s the store that had the foresight to buy in ahead, and it now has full stocks that will get the Christmas business. George’s have a large and carefully selected stock built up specially for the Christmas trade and they are pleased to say: “Not a penny rise on any article.” So far George’s have had a record season, particularly in Suits, Sportswear, Shirts and Hats, and they are
now showing a very fine and complete stock of these lines. Their display counters are laden with useful gifts .for men, brace sets, ties, boxes of handkerchiefs, and so on. To establish a reputation is one thing; to maintain it down through the years is another, but this W. George and Co. have done and, especially where suits are concerned, they have few superiors in the city. Christmas time is usually regarded as the time for a new suit and nowhere could a line be found to better that of this firm. George’s have long been known as the “suit people” and their stocks this year have seldom been bettered.
